THE BESPOKE PROCESS
Ruth Fattal Haute Couture specialises in a bespoke bridal services and evening wear, every dress is handmade with love, in our design studio in Sydney. From an initial sketch to completed dress our clients will see their dream dress come to life. Every design is a bespoke creation that compliments client’s unique personality and style. Designer Ruth Fattal personally guides each client through the right colour tones, design silhouettes and fabrications in one on one design consultations, pattern making process, toile and sampling process to the finished gown.MEET WITH THE DESIGNERIn your initial consultation you will meet with the designer Ruth for a complimentary 30-minute bridal appointment. Here you can view the Scarlet Remnant bridal collection and chat over a cup of tea and go through any inspirations, colours, fabrics and design ideas for your dream dress.DESIGN CONSULTATIONOne on one, and completely personalised our aim is to map out silhouette, colours, design elements and discuss gown details, ideas and fabric choices. As a certified stylist Ruth will By exploring different shapes and working out the most flattering that will compliment your individual style. In a follow up appointment Ruth will present the bride-to-be with a personalised sketch, fabric options and finalised quote, your measurements will be taken, and a timeline of fittings will be presented.SAMPLING + GOWN FITTINGSThe pattern making process will commence and a sample will be constructed in calico forming your silhouette and is used to ensure the most accurate fit. Our aim is to finalise design ideas, fabrication and colour. Only once the toile, and paper patterns are perfected then the design will be cut in the fabric, and construction of the gown will start taking place. During a number of fittings with Ruth, the bride-to-be will see their very own wedding gown come to life, these fittings ensure the gown is made and fitted to the highest possible standards and any lace appliques, bead work and finishing touches will be added. We also offer our brides exclusive bespoke bridal veils and accessories to compliment your wedding gown. After the final fitting your gown will be completed and will be ready for pick up.TIME FRAMEWe recommend beginning the bespoke process with us 6-12 months before the wedding day, the time frame is depending on the complexity and detailing needed for each individual gown.
